Dr. Weems is a general dentist who cares for pediatric patients at The Martin Luther King, Jr. Family Clinic.  She has grown up understanding duty and valuing diversity and the benefits both can bring to a community. She has always focused on looking for the solutions to a problem…not letting the problem take the oxygen out of the room!  These character traits  have made her an excellent dentist and she is committed to giving back to her community.  As part of a military family, Dr. Weems learned early that one person could make a difference.  She is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry.  Her desire to make sure children have healthy teeth has taken her to El Salvador to provide free dental work to those in need.  Dr. Weems also speaks Spanish.  When asked what she does for fun, she said, “I love to learn. That is why I enjoy reading and traveling.  I also enjoy learning about different cultures. This has lead me to trying different recipes and my personal joy comes from singing in my church choir.” Dr. Weems also stated she strives to live her life by this scripture in the Bible: Matthew 25: 40 - And the King shall answer and say unto them, ‘Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.’  Yes, she is special!
